F2: Spa Feature Race Abandoned after Horror Crash

The Formula 2 Feature Race at Spa-Francorchamps has been cancelled after a serious accident on Lap 2.

At the start, championship leader Nyck de Vries led from Louis Deletraz coming out of La Source.

On the following lap, a horrific crash occurred involving Antoine Hubert and Juan Manuel Correa at the exit of Radillon. Additionally, the trio of Giuliano Alesi, Ralph Boschung and Marino Sato were also involved in the collision.

Consequently, several damage was caused to the cars and the surrounding tyre barriers. With this in mind, the Stewards stopped the race and have since confirmed that it won’t be restarted.

At the time of press, there has yet to be any updates regarding the condition of the drivers involved in the incident.
